Space Trek Spring Break Camps (2026)

Space Trek proudly offers immersive and engaging camps for future explorers and engineers in grades 5-8 focused upon developing skills for the space workforce of tomorrow while offering out-of-this-world FUN! Our camps take place in our SPACE Learning Lab, located within the Center for Space Education at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

For the 2026 spring break season, Space Trek will offer single-day camp opportunities March 18th-20th. A four-day camp will be offered March 23rd-26th.Two levels of camps are offered for beginners (Astro Pioneers) and experts (Orbital Engineers/Mission Robotics).

Feature title.Astro Pioneers (Basic Robotics and Rocketry)

Take your first giant leap into aeronautics, robotics and rocketry! Build, program, and launch while navigating missions and mastering space science one challenge at a time! While developing engineering and collaborative teamwork skills, students will strengthen their problem-solving abilities by building and programming our ExoNaut robots using a Scratch environment  and designing, building, and launching rockets from our SPACE Learning Lab.

Orbital Engineers/Mission Robotics (Advanced Robotics and Rocketry)

Elevate your engineering skills to orbital levels! From Arduino-powered robots to precision rocket launches, this camp challenges you to design, code, and conquer space-inspired missions. Students will build confidence in using AI, coding, robotics, and advanced engineering concepts. In this exciting camp, students will design, assemble, and test ballistic water rocketry systems and perform experiments based upon quantitative data observations using our state-of-the-art Bottle Engine Testing Apparatus in our SPACE Learning Lab. On the robotics side, conquer our in-house Martian surface with your ExoNaut robot and help NASA scientists unravel the mysteries of the red planet and prepare for habitation!
